Our friends at Lancom recently migrated one of our Workbench clients (Stockman General Contractors) from an on-premise network to a cloud hosted AWS environment.
One of the key drivers for the move was aging infrastructure and the cost and effort required to bring this up to date. The move to the cloud eliminates a large amount of time, cost and complexity that Stockman would have otherwise incurred if they continued to manage their own servers on-premise.
Lancom have put together a case study on the move and we thought we would share it with you as we know that a lot of our clients are in a similar position to Stockman.
