Raise it once. Your books and your job agree.

Send every invoice with the job already coded.

Raise the invoice in Workbench and send it to MYOB Acumatica, without entering it again.

See which invoices have been paid.

Supplier payments and customer receipts from MYOB Acumatica are matched to the corresponding Workbench invoice.

Keep tax figures consistent between systems.

Workbench’s tax calculation replaces the MYOB Acumatica figure, helping prevent rounding differences. Each export also names its posting period, which must be open.

Workbench has been able to handle the high volume of invoices that we do within APS and the lots of transactions. We work on thousands of projects at a time, so to be able to handle that high volume of transactions being incredible.

Questions about Workbench and MYOB Acumatica

Will finance have to leave MYOB Acumatica?

No. Your general ledger and sub-ledgers stay in MYOB Acumatica, and Workbench holds the job detail.

Will we still enter invoices twice?

No. Invoices are raised in Workbench and post to MYOB Acumatica line by line, each with its job. They land as Released by default, so payments can find their Workbench invoice.

Will customer invoice numbers match?

Yes, once manual numbering is on in MYOB Acumatica. The Workbench invoice number then becomes the MYOB Acumatica one. MYOB Acumatica has one numbering setting for all companies and branches, so you decide it with us at setup.

Do payments come back to Workbench?

Yes. Supplier payments and customer receipts from MYOB Acumatica come back against the matching Workbench invoice, and prepayments follow when they are allocated. A receipt in a different currency from the invoice is handled.

Can crew hours reach MYOB Acumatica?

Yes, as a file. Workbench produces the timesheet export from the payroll batch, but it does not run the pay run. You upload the file into MYOB Acumatica's Import Timesheets screen, and we help set up the data map.

Can we run several companies or branches?

Yes. Each Workbench financial company maps to a company in MYOB Acumatica, and profit centres map to branches. Workbench recommends one legal entity with multiple branches for divisional reporting in both systems.

Can we start an import ourselves?

Yes, for customers. By default, finance licence holders and system admins can start a manual import at any time, and a scheduled task also runs one. A History screen shows each scheduled or manual run.

Workbench also connects to Xero and MYOB AccountRight. See all integrations
